Were nearing time to bottle our brew and we are stuck on which sugar to use when bottling- should we just use regular sugar or glucose?

You can use plain old table sugar 3/4 cup boil with one pint of water for five minutes.

Now with that said.... table sugar will leave a off taste in your beer. I would go to your HBS and grab a bag of extra light spraymalt and prime with 1 1/4 cup of that for a five gallon batch.

Many, including myself, use corn sugar when priming, as it give no asfter tastes. 2/3-3/4 cup per 5G, depending on your preference.

What kind of sugar is in Brewers Best kits?

It just says Priming Sugar. I have no idea what kind of sugar it is.

hmmm our kit only came with glucose and about a kg of it... so regular table sugar isnt the go- but isnt dextrose just regular table sugar?
