where to acquire needle valve faucet adapter

INFO NEEDED on where to acquire faucet adapter that has a needle valve as part of it

My first thought included a 1/4" double compression valve. Think of a valve used on a swamp cooler. If you have a garden hose type adapter to put on your faucet, many come with a pre drilled hole to thread in a valve.
