Where can I buy Alla brand hydrometers?

Mine just broke after 12 years of faithful service, 50 or so batches. Very disappointed and am not going to replace it with China crap.

Sorry, I don't know that brand, but I can recommend this one. Has served me well for maybe a dozen batches, and made in the good ole USA

Get a Brewing America brand hydrometer. Not the least expensive on the market but made in the USA. I just took delivery of the triple scale model with temperature correction. I hope never to break this one but if I do I will gladly pay for another.

i'd just say, think 'plain form'.....and 12 years and only 50 batches!?!? i brew 50 10 gal batches a year!

Thanks for the suggestions. The LHS had one that looked promising and I have had a chance to test and now wish my old hydro had bit the dust sooner, it was always a bit hard to read. This thing was only $4.99, claims to be Made in USA. Much, much easier to read than the Alla (and Alla clones) tri color hydros. Numbers are larger and on a white background and the measurement units are more spaced. Looks alot like the ones that Brulosophy uses. No brand name, though.

The one I describe in a previous post is very cheap and seems to be widely available at the moment. I did find out that it reads .004 too high, not really an issue, I just subtract that from my reading and add in the temperature adjustment. The Alla was right on target, but I am liking how easy this one is to read.
