When to remove whole spices

I'm brewing a pumpkin ale using cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg and allspice. It's being added to the boil 45 min in. Do I remove it when the boil is finished or does it stay in the fermenter?
 
Personally I would pull it at the end of the boil. Once it ferments, try a sample. If you think it needs more "dry hop" the spices for a couple days.
