This is such a great forum, and I am sure many of you are sick of answering these NOOB questions over and over again. Anyway, I have tried to read as much as I could but I am still confused.

I have an IPA that started in my primary 2 weeks ago. It fermented fairly quickly as the temps were 75-78 degrees. It was done after about 3 days I think. My initial gravity was 1.060 and it finished at around 1.014 (this is from memory so my numbers may be a little off). I transferred it to a secondary after it was done fermenting after a week, only because I dumped the entire wort into the primary along with all the sediment (oops). It has been in a secordary for a week and I am wondering if I should just leave it in the secondary or should I go ahead and transfer it to my keg? It seems like it should age another week or so before it will be ready to drink, but can I go ahead and transfer it into a keg and get it cooling and carbonating?

Is there any reason not to put it into a keg and into the kegerator shortly after fermenting ceases?

You can rack over to the keg if you wish. if it is still cloudy, you can leave it for another week and let the yeast drop out of suspension a little more and clean up some of the yeast waste. If you arent in a rush, wait a week.
