I bought yeast nutrient to help achieve better fermentation to my AG brew, since currently I am not making yeast starters.

The label does not specify when to add the yeast nutrient. Should I add it to the boil, at flameout, or after chilling the wort?

I add mine about 5 minutes left in the boil, I also add some to a starter and use a teaspoon or so at a time

some people claim that dry yeast already has nutrients in it but I like to be sure lol doesn't hurt anyone to take extra vitamin's and thats all yeast nutrient is so to speak
