When to add beer finings

Im looking to syphon my brew into another bucket within the next couple of days due to excess sediment. Gravity is currently on 1014. Do i add finings to the fermentation bucket on the bottling bucket once syphoned?

Add the finings, (cool if possible,) let it settle, and then transfer to the bottling bucket to bottle.
