I formulated and brewed this recipe from scratch a couple of weeks ago, without no real experience of designing recipes. I have yet to do the dry hop addition.
I was just listening to an old episode of Brew Strong on the topic of Dry Hopping in which they said that it was a bad idea to use different hops from different hop categories, and I believe there were not just referring to Dry Hop additions. I had never heard the hop wheel, but I just googled it and evidently I was way off in this beer!
I have managed to hit 3 or 4 different categories already, help me fix this beer with my dry hops. I did taste the wort post boil and it did not taste too bad at all, but I have spent some good money on hops and would like a good beer and I feel like I can save it with my dry hops.
I have a freezer full of hops to choose from, including:
Amarillo
Cascade
Columbus
Chinook
Crystal
Columbia
Willamette
Goldings
Fuggles
Tett
Hellatau
Sterling
Magnum
Santium
What would you do?
Thanks
