Thinking of doing a festa brew continental pilsner without lagering

I can easily accomplish the correct temp range for a saflager s_23 brew but have no lagering equipment.

1) How can you get between 9 and 12*C without lagering equipment? That cold up there?

2) It'll probably be a bit more estery and not as smooth as you'd expect if you don't store it cold for a while.

Does NS mean Nova Scotia? I'm sure they can just set it outside.
