Below are two different beers' ingredients, as listed by their brewers. Both have this distinct, sweetish, malty fruitiness. It's especially present in Danzig Baltic porter, and fairly present in Alewerks Tavern Ale (pictured respectively).
Maybe I'm way off and it's hop-driven. It really seems malty though. I hope there's enough info here to find that common ground.
I've brewed plenty of good porter and brown, and plenty with many of these ingredients. I still haven't achieved any of said flavor.
