What's a good price for a CO2 tank?

I bought a used Alum 5# on Craigslist with a regulator for $40. It was old, but my gas supplier just swapped it out for a newer one.

Think about a 20# tank. They are a bit more $$ to start, but it really only costs a couple of dollars more to fill each time. I think it's like $18 to fill a 5# and like $21 to fill a 20# tank at our local gas supply.

Whether or not the hydro cert is up to date or not is also a factor for the value. If it's expired, you're gonna need to spend another ~$12-$20 for the re-cert.

Got a 20# tank (expired hydro, but still has gas in it) with the regulator, one ball lock keg, one pin lock keg, all hoses and QDs for $65 off Craigslist. The kegs are in much better shape than those I got with my kegging setup too! If you see a good deal, jump on it fast because they seem to go like lightning, at least they do here.
