Bottling... I love everything else about the process but I absolutely can't stand bottling and don't have the funds or room for kegging, let alone a wife who supports that change.

What she doesn't understand is the change to kegging will free up more time to hang out with her. Less time bottling.![]()

That sucks man. Sounds like your garbage men need to hit the gym.
The weight limit may have to do more with the truck than the garbage collectors.
As for what to do with spent grain, use it. Make bread, pretzels, or dog treats. You can also compost it.

Kegging -- don't have to clean 50 bottles but haven't found a regulator that doesn't leak. Water profile never accurate... Yeah just think about what early germans would have done to make beer........and now we are all just scratching our heads for that authenicity! Well, atleast i am.
I'd wonder about there sanitation process.
