What would happen if...

I have a 5 gallon cream ale extract kit. Decided that I don’t really want to do 5 gallons, so I could scale down.

but, for the sake of expirmentation has anyone ever used excess ingredients and not topped off with water?

Thought about getting a couple of these just for the contents. Good price for all that extract if you can use it.
