i know they say when life hands you lemons........


i made limoncello and i have 20 skinned lemons. i wasnt going to make skeeter pee cause it didnt sound too appealing to me but now im thinking i could keg it and carb it and it might be worth a try.

anyone have any other ideas with what to do with 20 skinned lemons?

this came out much better than i expected.

super easy. super delish.

as good or better than a lot of the ones i tasted in italy.

peel 8-10 lemons. soak the skins in 750 ml of everclear for 25 days.

strain into a simple syrup of 3/4 cup of sugar in in 3 cups of water.

bottle and chill. this will sneak up on you . the concentrated lemon oil and sugar makes the alcohol rediculously smooth.

too easy not to make.

this will make a geat gift for the holidays.

btw i figured out what to do with all the lemons. they make a great scrubber for stainless steel when cut in half.


next up orangecello , limecello, pomellocello ( how can i not) , and etrogcello.
