Help me decide what to brew next. This poll contains styles I'm interested in brewing. If you have a good one, send me a recipe.

I vote for CA Common, and not just because I'm from there. It's a different enough style that it will stand out from APAs but still be familiar. I'm going to make another one this winter when it cools down here a bit, or I can get my fermentation fridge set up, which ever comes first.

Try a hoppy amber. I think my recipe was lost when my HD failed, but I'll see if I have a copy on paper.

Do know it was about 20% honey malt.
Rest was pale esb (3lov 2 row) and a couple oz of choco malt.

Hop it well, to balance the sweetnes of the honey malt. Mine was 55IBU and seemed balanced and actually less bitter feeling than my Pilsner @ 40 IBU.

You mentioned that these are ones your interested in, but if you have any interest in Cider better make it soon..... nows the time. Not sure when the mills start closing, but you should have a bit of time left. Researching mine now.....

I have a cyser in the basement. I'm going to bottle half of it, and blend the other half with maple wine, keg it and carbonate it.

Do a Maibock with that Rogue yeast. Make it soon tap it on May 1st and you'll be golden. Plus that Rogue yeast wont be around for ever.

I'm totally stoked about the robust porter I brewed today. I'm thinking of turning it into a vanilla-bourbon for Christmas. It tasted soooo good when it flowed into the fermentor, I may just brew it again right away.

Got to try to brew a intresting beer i read about in a issue of either zyrmurgy or brew your own it is called chanclors ale its a big one at 11% or so if you do not have the issue i will dig it out and forward it to you if you would like..:tank:

Vanilla-bourban? beer? or are you going distill this?

I say have another go at a Cheesefood original (considering the Caramel Cream Ale was such a success).

More or less be a guinea pig for us.
