Well today I tried my hand at GF all grain. Now I'm pretty used to regular all grain beer brewing but this was a whole new level.

Use rice hulls!!! I didn't have any and damn I wished I did. Use a nylon bag in a Zapap tun and it helps. Unless your biab bag gets a rip in it....

If and when I do another batch I will change a lot of things up, use rice hulls for sure, add a few different grains too. Original recipe was quinoa, millet and toasted buckwheat.

Damn I learned a lot today. But it surprisingly tastes great. Feels great to be out of my brewing comfort zone!
 
Congrats on your first gluten free all grain and good luck if you choose to do another!

Yes, rice hulls are a must. Millet doesn't have a hull like most grains because it isn't a grain. Same with quinoa.
