Can someone advise what beer style I have just made? Wanted to make an ale with little roasted barley for color. Ended up using too much accidentally. :(

22 Litre batch

Pale malt 4 kg 500 g 92%
Roasted barley 400 g 8%

Mash at 68℃ for 60mins

Magnum 5g @ 60mins
Chinook 7.5g @ 15mins
Chinook 7.5g @ 10mins
Chinook 10g @ 0 mins

OG 1.053 IBU 30

Ferment with Nottingham @ 15℃

Looks like an amber ale to me. Roasted barley is probably around 300l. At 8%, that's a lot of color. Might even be a brown. I make a pale ale with about 5% crystal malt at 75l. And my ibus on that beer is about 25%..Don't worry about style too much. Just worry about what you like and dislike in the beer, and determine the style later.

I'll say a semi-dry amber ale since nottingham has a med-high attenuation and you used magnum for bittering. However, the scarcity of the hops could lean towards a brown ale. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
