What happened to my beer?

After three weeks in the primary, this is how I found my German style brown ale...strong odor also..the only thing I did differently was after not seeing any action after a week, I added some more yeast...

It looks fine, as already noted - yeast rafts. If it tastes good it should be alright.

So it sat for a week, you repitched, got fermentation and now see this? You say it has a strong odor? Can you describe it better? If it doesn't smell too bad maybe try a sample.
