I decided to take advantage of some of the sales and get all the gear I need to put a keg in the fridge. I have only brewed 3 beers, but I'm hooked. Figured I'll go all the way.
This is probably the best thing you could have done. I stopped homebrewing years ago just because I couldn't stand bottling anymore. I picked up some kegs this summer and got back into it. Best decision I have ever made. My buddy tried my homebrew and liked it so much he got into it to. First thing he did was get 2 kegs setup at his place. We now brew once a week and after about 10 batches are starting to make some really great beer. Not sure what equipment you have but IMO a refractometer is another often overlooked tool that will set you back $30-50.
Has anyone seen any good deals on a Thermoworks MTC Thermocouple Thermometer?
