Doh! Stuck to the peel a bit... Too much topping, is that possible? ;)

More breakfast burritos. Doubled potato and sausage and red sauce. Nothing to special, need to quit snacking them! Made steak and after watching so much gordon ramsey used some of his techniques. Good choice sirloin from the good counter and after first flip made a well of oil in the middle of them and snipped fresh rosemary from the garden and tossed it in the oil. Then basted the steak with the oil. For griddled squash did same but with purple basil. Nice touches. Ordered a mortar today with a gift card i got for fathers day. Cant wait to make chicken marinades. Is guac hard to clean in a thai mortar. Liked the thai ones best but couldnt seem to source a large 8 in one for less than 50. Figure its worth the investment.

Errr You'd be amazed at how good salmon comes out wrapping it in tin foil and some herbs/lemon/capers and placing on a hot plate or campfire. Ive even have done it on a stove heating coil while camping. Hobo living at it's finest

Grilled lamb chop.

If you're not allergic to tree nuts and like pecans, here is a simple recipe for awesome lamb chops:

- Salt & pepper the chops, brown them on all sides, set aside to cool
- Apply a thin coating of Dijon mustard to the chops as a binder, then coat them in crushed pecans
- Roast/bake at 350 deg F. until they are done to your liking, I shoot for ~130ish degrees F.

If you only use a thin coating of Dijon mustard you'll hardly taste it, the flavor of the lamb and pecans is all you'll really taste. We love cooking them this way.
