Looking for a few ideas here. We are replacing our 15 year old washer and dryer and I'm wondering if there's anything I can re-purpose for home brewing from them. Obviously the washer motor might be good for something. The dryer is 240 volt. Ideas?

No clue what to do with a 15 year old. I had to repurpose a 25 year old washer and dryer.
Now she does half the childcare and most of the cooking.

I've heard of guys pulling the motors out of the washer to motorize their mills.
You can use the washers metal inside as a fire pit, not for brewing but maybe drinking beers
Lop the cords off. You never know when a spare cord may come in handy on a DIY project.
Take them to a scrapper then take the $$ and buy something...
