Just polished off a Sammy Smiths Stingo. Earlier I had a Rare Vos and a Shipyard Barley wine. I have a Rogue Chocolate stout don't think I'll get to it tonight.

I started while I was brewing a partigyle tonight with one of my reds, then a fellow brewer dropped by with one of his Belgian style IPAs, after that it was a great lakes Christmas ale (sucked) then an oaked arrogant bastard, then a Bell's third coast old ale. And finally at midnight I cracked open a 750 ML of Allegash White.

The Allegash tastes like one of my hydro samples.

A Young's Double Chocolate Stout (eh....)
A Rogue Chocolate Stout (great stuff)
A Samuel Smith's Oatmel Stout (eh....)
and a 6'er of O'Dells 5 Barrell Ale (great stuff)...

I rang in the new year with these great beers

Chimay Triple
Stone Ruination IPA
Saint Bridget's Porter
Dogfish Head Chicory Stout

Home brew are in the bottles still carbinating, weren't quite ready for new years:(

Rogue's Double Dead Guy and a couple of my own.

I did an eight course meal paired with beers for 20 people. It was one of the best meals I've ever had, and not just because I cooked it.

It helps when you have 8lbs of sushi grade tuna to trim for the perfect cut, perfect scallops, two 3 1/2 lb Kobe tenderloins and access to black and white truffles

First: Tuna sashimi with daikon radish, fresh grated ginger and a soy dipping sauce. Beer---Unibroue-Blanche de Chambly

Second: Pan seared scallops on a bacon/mushroom/onion stuffed mini bell pepper and fried mushrooms. Beer---Fuller's- London Pride

Third: Grilled mango and crispy baked prosciutto with herb ricotta and mango coulis. Beer---Weihenstephaner- Original

Fourth: Parmesan polenta and shrimp with pineapple habanero sauce. Beer--- Unibroue- La Fin du Monde

Fifth: Seasoned ground lamb skewers with cucumber mint couscous and cucumber yogurt dipping sauce. Beer---Brouwerij Verhaeghe- Duchesse de Bourgogne

Sixth: Wagyu Kobe beef tenderloin with porcini/portabella mushroom risotto. Beer---Wychwood's- Hobgoblin

Seventh: 3 Year aged Blue Stilton, 2 year aged French Comte, 3 year aged Australian white cheddar, some curry cashews and 3 year aged Parmesan with a drizzle of maple syrup. Beer--- Flying Dog- Gonzo Imperial Porter

Eighth: Crème Brule in a sugar cookie tartlets on a bed of mixed berry compote. Beer--- Rogue- Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout

lets see...

.750 ml bottle of omegang abby ale dubbel
sixer of laguniitas brown suga
sixer of Guinness extra stout
11.2 oz bottle of rochefort 8
11.2 oz bottle of rochefort 10
a bottle of some French-distilled Gin the guy at the package store suggested (and it's great!)

then there's the various homebrew's listed in my signature that are always available.

Wow... that sounds amazing. I'm looking up flights to Florida right now!

You're a little late

so needless to say all 20 people were trashed after this remarkable dinner?

Since there was a wine with each course also, and plenty of drinks before I'm surprised no one lost a finger or got burned in the kitchen
