More Beer has a new beer line out that I want to try. I need to replace mine and figured I would get something "new and improved". I can't link it right now because their site is down but it is Ultra Barrier Silver Antimicrobial and PVC free. I believe it is going for $1.70 a foot. Is this something worth getting or just a marketing ploy?

Doing some research on the Eldon James (EJ Beverage) company, for the product linked above, it seems they have been in the biomedical, industrial, automotive, etc industry for almost 30 years. They appear to manufacture hoses, clamps, fittings of all sorts, most of them seem to be antimicrobial and PVC free. Heres a PDF on their silver lined antimicrobial tubing published in 2010.

They only recently appear to have entered the food and beverage industry with their tubing and fittings.

Hope any of that helps.

I use the glass line beer line from William's Brewing.

Not very flexible. You have to soak it in hot water to push it over a barb.

But it will last a long time and never pick up odor or flavor.

Thanks RanchNachos. It is nice to see they have been making tubing for a while. Seems high quality.

I was looking at those lines too. So how do you coil 10ft into your keezer or fridge if it isn't flexible?
