HB Dark IPA. It's still young, and needs a couple more days to carb up, but tastes really good. Close to 7% and very malty. Looks a bit like mud, however, so next run I'll try a lighter base. Cheers!!

I'm going to post this twice: here and on the what did I cook this weekend (or whatever the thread name is).
I let this beer carb near the bottom end of the yeast's optimum range. Took months. ABV is at least 13%. Flavor has some sweetness, but presents on the dry side. Nice tripel character. And it's a extract w/grain. I could drink it forever without missing other professional-quality beers of the same style.

Yeeees. Had to refrain myself. They were selling tap handles for $1. I picked up their Belgian ale which was pretty good. It's good to see that breweries with the slow down are doing a lot of barrel stuff. I wonder if this will sway the trend. I love Silvaticus and their barrel proeject. I wanna see more funk sours tho
