Been holding off on drinking this one for over a year but could not wait another night.

For a bourbon barrel aged beer, this is by far one of my favorites. [emoji482]

Today was a pick-up party with wine pours and hors d'oeuvres. A hot afternoon with temps reaching 94° but with a constant 20mph breeze it was comfortable.

HB RIS. Came out pretty good. Learned my lesson about leaving it on cacao nibs in secondary too long! Killed my lactose and added bitterness. Still tasty, but I need to rebrew it

Two bombers are fine. I can only find 2018 bombers around here and plenty of cases of 12oz. I will grab the Mellow Mink. @pshankstar just checked their site and I’ll grab them Friday.

This one gets a lot of buzz around here and elsewhere, and I always pick one up every year to see if it grows on me. Again this year the answer is, once again, no. Just not my thing I guess, although it seemed to taste a bit better as it warmed. I'll try another one next year to see if my opinion changes 12 months down the road.
