Two great Belgian beers tonight.

Lindemans Cuvee Rene 2017 (Gueuze). Great lambic with full body and lots of sour green apples and citrus taste. Well balanced.

Chimay Cinq Cents trappist tripel. A good tripel if you like the style. A bit more dried fruit character and less heavy than Westmalle, I think. I like it better than Westmalle tripel. Although I preferred the gueze tonight.

@TwistedGray hb sour ipa

The sour smells great and there is a tiny bit of funk on the sip but it is incredibly clean. Hops are pretty faint. Do I smell some Jolly Pumpkin dregs in there?

The cider last night was good. Clean, dry and refreshing!

Sounds like a decent work trip.. What breweries did you hit?

No breweries per se, but was able to pick up many very local and very fresh examples of beer. Really want to make it by Tree House next time I'm in Boston. Schedule was just a little too tight to make the stop. We did make it to Trillium's beer garden in downtown Boston. The peanut butter PM Dawn imperial stout was great!

Did bring back stuff from Trillium, Lawson's, Hermit Thrush, etc. Can't wait to try it all!
