Thanks again for the heads up on that. It's one of those spligeeouhg (sp?) glasses that might break if you look at it wrong, but sexy as hell :)
 
Anyone have a good 80/- recipe? Extended boil or boil down the first gallon of first runnings? @Qhrumphf I'm looking at you
 
I've got a box going to finsfan (thanks to the friggin Eagles) that is either delayed or blown up. It departed philly Tuesday night, no updates since...

5.5 gallon batch, 85% efficiency. Mashed at 158F, and fermented at 60F. approximately 2:1 chloride to sulfate, and 5.4 mash pH. Starter sized on the high side, aiming for 1 million cells per mL per °Plato.

12.0 oz Crystal Light - 45L (Crisp) (45.0 SRM) Grain 2 8.6 %
8.0 oz Crystal Dark - 77L (Crisp) (75.0 SRM) Grain 3 5.7 %
6.0 oz Crystal, Dark - 150L (Muntons) (150.0 SRM) Grain 4 4.3 %
2.0 oz Pale Chocolate (Thomas Fawcett) (215.0 SRM) Grain 5 1.4 %
0.75 oz Goldings, East Kent [7.20 %] - Boil 60.0 min Hop 6 20.4 IBUs
1.0 pkg Scottish Ale (Wyeast Labs #1728) [124.21 ml] Yeast 7 -

I normally boil the first runnings down substantially, or do partigyle with a Wee Heavy and boil for several hours.

Est Original Gravity: 12.4 Plato (~1.050)
Est Final Gravity: 3.8 Plato (~1.015)
Estimated Alcohol by Vol: 4.6 %
Bitterness: 20.4 IBUs
Est Color: 15.6 SRM

This glass (tulip) sold out quick I think and then they put up last year's snifter. I tried to add it to my order but I was too late to combine it so I passed
