Last time I traveled for work, I had 4 little Bombay bottles on the plane... When I went to expense it, they gave me a hard time. I didn't even eat lunch that day, so it wasn't out of line for average per diem.

Straight gin will do that to you.

Thankful that I get flat rate per diems based on location only, whether you spend it or not. No one needs to know that I spent my per diem at the bottle shop.

Means I'm now ready to walk from this stupid job. If I can't get brewing work, I may look into working at the LHBS opening up down the street. Because I can now afford it.

That and I got the 4 bottles of Founders Centennial IPA I didn't pay for swapped out for the 4 bottles of FBS I actaully DID pay for, no questions asked. "Oh, crap, sorry man, our bad. Go grab what you need".

This, a rye beer, and a rye whiskey compress. Feeling a bit cruddy. Needed the extra grains. Made tune melts, comfort food.
