39 right now, but with the normal cooling effect of releasing compressed gas, it's a lot colder for the tank. I've got a halogen work light pointed at it now to keep things going ... and I'm shaking the tank to get the gas flowing too.

I have used a battery blanket in the past to keep the gas flowing on my jet heater in my garage when it is -10°F.

I hope you make it through the boil!

Doing an SG check on my "There Gose Sea Breeze" that I'm hoping to get bottled and carbed in time for Thanksgiving. Made with hibiscus tea concentrate (to mimic cranberry), grapefruit zest soaked in vodka, sea salt, and coriander. After the hydrometer reading, I chilled the sample in a small glass. I don't know how to describe the flavor and aroma, but there's a little salt, then tart, followed by some sour in the finish, and it all seems to blend into something that I think is going to be pretty good.

Just opened a bottle of the last thing I brewed, a dark ale with Amarillo, Cascade, & a little Columbus.

Amazing. All I can say. Orangey-citrus with a little dankness. Gorgeous brew, maybe my best ever.

No pics, didn't happen.

Blue Mountain coffee on a bus into work. Contemplating making a breakfast stout with a rum/oak combo with this coffee. It's been too long since my last brew

The @Qhrumph dark mild. Effed it up and lost a gallon during sparge due to an open valve.

Cleaning a back log of kegs, too. Picked up a couple of kegs from a guy who stopped homebrewing. These were full of 3yo beer. the pick says it all (please note that is the gas out).

I am jealous. I never find decent deals on cornies around here. Not that I really need them but yaknow. Looks like you really needed to nuke those.

This while I eat an inch thick pork chop off the grill. 45 minutes into a 2.5 hour boil - gonna be a long night. :mug:

2.5 hours... You must hate yourself.

Coffee. Miserable at work because no one is here to help me.

Still working on your boil?

No, the boil finally finished a little after 10. Due to my bad volumes it was a 4+ hour boil :drunk: I came upstairs, saw that the Eagles game went to OT, turned on the TV and saw about five plays before they won and then went to bed. The roeselare and OEC dregs are pitched though and it is doing its thing in the ferm chamber.

More coffee ... lots more coffee.
