Left Hand Nitro Milk Stout and Fort Collins Brewery Chocolate Stout. Haven't gotten my first home-brew yet...so bottle collecting as I call it. The Left Hand is my favorite sweet stout and the Fort Collins is so, so.

Pumpkin beers are not my thing but aside from a bit of an excessive carb this is well done. Got any of the base beer left? ;)

I've never actually made the base porter yet. On my list of future brews that I've not done yet.

This is bloody fantastic. Bone dry. Just the right amount of Brett, doesn't overwhelm the primary yeast. Oak dries it out a bit more again without overwhelming. Commercial quality beer this is.

Glad you enjoyed that - I was really happy with how that turned out.

Water. Yeah - hump day!

Oi, bloody good beer, sir. Might fancy another, but should probably sit down for some bangers and mash first.

I'd be legless if I drank another on an empty stomach.

Cracking brew, mate.

And... That's how I read it

Full Throttle.

Water,

<INSERT SHAMELESS PARENT BRAG> Going to an awards program for my son. He scored in the top 10% in the state on the standardized test they had to take. He scored on an advanced 3rd grade level and they are talking about letting him skip 3rd grade, if we allow it.</INSERT SHAMELESS PARENT BRAG>

Congrats man. Which way are you leaning towards? Theres a bunch of positives and negatives on this subject matter. I think the most important thing would be to ensure your kid can handle the shock. Not just more difficult work, but already pre-established school yard cliques that may hard for him to adjust to or be involved with (IE bullying)

I skipped the 6th grade, I kind of regret it as it thrust me into junior high and I had to make new friends and keep up with the work load, it was tough. He is in school with kids that he has grown up with since 6 months old, so I feel we will just let him continue on and not risk it.

I think the further along in school you are the worse it would be. 6th grade had to be real rough

Coffee. I was going to make today a brew day, but I was too busy yesterday to get my chiller set up. I didn't want to hassle with it on an actual brew day. Not that anyone is really worried about this, but I figured I'd type because I like hearing myself type.

That being said. I may have more coffee. Staying up late just to watch the Cubs **** the bed is starting to suck. First world problems or something like that.

What kind of chiller setup are you going with?

My ground water is too warm, so a plate chiller is my only option unless I want to spend an arm and leg on ice. Downside is cleaning cycles on that thing seem to never end after brew day.

Onto water for now.

FCB has a killer Scotch Ale called Wallace Wee Heavy. When that one comes out, grab as much as you can.

Having an espresso with a home roasted coffee blend. Glad I didn't go for a watered down Americano as this is about perfect for my tastes.
