Yeah, that thing is a beast - I'd guess it's at least 40 years old. One 20 lb bag of ice on Friday and still some ice when unpacking now.

That's back when stuff was build to last. My dad gave me a BBQ grill that he remembers picking up from Sears with my grandpa back in the 70s. It anit much to look at and the original stand is long gone but it cooks chickens and ribs better than my smoker pit does View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1434330416.844517.jpg

had 2 pours of my latest Porter (Shadow), a Nuclear Winter, and now another pour of the Shadow. I'm going to re-brew this one in the near future. simple, low, satisfying, and almost gone.

Agreed. The new igloo cooler we had went thru 3 bags of ice in the same time.
More pineapple wheat, admiring my hop garden.

I've been building up my veggie garden over the last two years. Next year I need to start growing hops.

Still nursing my KBS and helping my buddy's wife pick out starter brewing equipment for him for Father's Day. Pretty excited.

They have lived a life abstaining from all things making life worth living.

Why didn't I get something to put in a flask? Oh well, just gonna have to get a buzz big enough to see me through.

Time to go find break bleeding tools. The 66 needs to get back on the road and I have four hours of free time. Cannot remember the last time I had four hours to do what I wanted to do.

Well they should no trouble transitioning to marriage life then.

Dammit. This is amazing.

A little sweet considering it is fermented but all I can think of is the huge wintergreen/root beer not with some real vanilla ice cream on a hot summer day. Refreshing.

Now I want more. Like a case.

You are either up late for work, or up reallllly early for work.

I, on the other hand, have no excuse.

:)

I get up at 2:30 to be in by 4:00. that's gonna change once they implement the new set hours. when we're on 40's, it'll be 7:00-4:00. when we're on 48's it'll be 5:30-4:00. if they need us over 48 hours, we'll have to go in on Saturday. I'm not too thrilled about that.

Water after coffee.

Stopped by a neighbor's house at around 1 pm with the youngest, more of my family migrated over, and eventually meandered back home around 9:30 pm. Yeesh, talk about a play date. Thankfully the neighbor had a half barrel keg of DFH 60 on tap.

On my second coffee. Been busy this morning - slept in (bed never felt better after two days in the tent,) washing camping gear and already on my second conference call. Is it Friday yet?! :(

Full Throttle. Hardest part of Monday morning is catching up on this thread.

Nursing a sick sunburn after forgetting to put sunscreen on my legs. Like I do every. Single. Time.

I hurt today. Spent the weekend drinking cheap kegged BL, sliding down this, and hanging out by the pool.

Now on the coffee.

Water and cawfeh. SWMBO got a babysitter for the afternoon so we could go to the grand opening of the Tallgrass Taphouse 🍻🍸
