Got an email from one of the judges at the competition I entered. Apparently they lost a couple entries, one being mine. So, no constructive feedback on my hb still. Les sigh. Not a good experience for my first competition.

If you're looking for constructive feedback, I won't charge you what a competition will. I'll probably even send you some beer back if I have anything on hand.

The only thing worse than lost entries is forgotten entries. Judged a comp last year where one of the drop off sites took a couple of last minute entries and forgot to notify the comp, so somebody had to go run across town and pick them up. Unfortunately, two of the beers were in categories that had already been judged.

It's funny. Mark's has way more biscuity flavor. But both have a distinct, Brett character (sweetness) to the aroma and flavor. I'm about to open my Brett Saison...although mine has bacteria and is quite sour. Ask @bucknuts.

Refund?? Yeah didn't get that... it was only $7, more sad that I lost 3 bottles of beer. Hopefully someone gets to drink them, though they weren't great. The homeless man that walks down our street once a week collecting empty cans enjoyed it at least. Gave him a growler and a box of old suits :cross:
