Sample of one of a few failed stout attempts. Too sweet and way over carbed ever though I used only about 2oz priming sugar for the batch.

On to the next

The beer might not had been finished fermenting. you think? If its too sweet you might mash lower so there will be more fermentables or bigger healthier yeast pitch. I'm planning to make a +15% stout soon after a few more batches. I need to fill the new kegger I'm making. Should be finished with the construction this week and just need to get the new lines and parts and I'm done. I hope it still functions after putting all this effort into it. Its an old freezer

It was in the primary for a month then secondary for a few more. Probably mashed too high. It's the only style of stuff I've made that I really haven't made anything good.

I made the deception recipe on here to make something a little easier (not 10% or anything added) and that came out ok but the creaminess threw me off.

I'll just have to keep trying huh?

Oh and happy bday!

I've always had my Manhattans on the rocks. It's the way my dad makes them, and I've seen no reason to change.

Coffee at work.

As easy they go down straight up, I'd get myself in way too much trouble drinking them on ice.:drunk:

Agreed. Plus, ordering on the rocks at a bar guarantees you won't get it in a damn wide martini glass.

Water. Tried to get another coffee, but found out the cafeteria here is closed already...

Water on lunch while completing application for home loan now that we know what we can afford. It just got so real.

Awesome! Just realize that they'll usually approve you for a house you can afford to buy but not afford the electricity or heat for. :what:

Sample of my leftovers irish red. Tastes and looks good to me.

Tried bottling some and broke 2 bottles with 2 different P.O.S. Butterfly cappers so I just kegged it all. Need to get a bench capper I guess.

Yup. Pull the trigger on a bench capper. I broke too many bottles with my winged capper.

Cherry coke. Working another 10 hours and back at 8 tomorrow morning. I'm ready for a beer...

These will be up for auction at Hunahpu Day this year (9L).
Drinking water waiting to go home

Wow. Hopefully the proceeds are going to something like kidney transplant research?

Oh, and sorry to bust bubbles, but the way I see it that would only take 13 pours to consume. You just need #properglassware - right @PatrickGoss ?

You sir, are correct. Great beer by the way. I have one left and don't see it surviving the brewing I have planned for the coming weekend.
