I'm overdue for a stop there. I'll PM you. Last I heard they expanded their sour program. Probably be a week or two. Maybe I can send a wits end growler filled with TRVE, or a TRVE growler filled with wits end :)

Either or will be fine with me :ban:. I can return your big apple growler with a local fav too. I need to go there for vaca soon. Maybe later this year hopefully. That wit end was delicious.

I am in no hurry for great beer. I need to get with a few about trades. I complain i have too much but i do not have too much lol. Still need to drink that batch 1 from crooked stave

Master of Disguise.

Sadly, I don't think I'm a fan. Which is weird, because I like everything in here. Maybe it's a watered-down coffee flavor that's not quite right.

It was a valiant attempt, though.

Let me know when you need a high altitude fix, we can figure out the details then. Both wits and true are between my house and crooked stave.

Feel like I wasn't feeling the beer. Moved onto my HB hard cider with a shot and a half of fireball. I won't freeze since I'm drinking antifreeze. :D

Atleast you know what you are drinking. Fireball is too sweet for me. I do not like. Yuk... are you celebrating the interview today?

Mosaic SMaSH IPA hb from Hello...this is really good! I tend to like less bitterness than normally found in some IPA's and DIPA's...regular pale ales are generally more to my liking. But I find that with some IPA's, the initial bitterness is aggressive, but after about half of a glass, the tastebuds adjust and the blend is much more pleasant. That's the case with this beer...and I really like Mosaic. The aroma is amazing amd the flavor has that pine/resin edge to it. Late Spring, I think I'll be brewing a Mosaic/Citra pale ale...maybe I'll go IPA! (I love Citra, too and they pair well together.) Just jinished the first pour from a bomber and I'm getting ready to polish that bottle off! Nice job, Hello! And I enjoyed the Brew&A...congrats!

You know i always be down the kicker is if there is something down here you want. There is a lots of great beer the US does not know of.

Got the right water heater and it took 1.5 hrs to install. Amazing how easy it is when you buy the right thing...

Celebrating with this

Haha you know, I told a couple of people and they didn't seem thrilled. One even said they didn't want to go to another site so could I email it? Haha weirdos. I was just surprised they wanted to do the interview. 90% of the active members are more skilled and experienced than I am. I'm in amazing company.
Your on a mission when fireball is introduced. Lol
Haha it is the quintessential "I'm getting drunk" drink.

Thanks, I really like that one.

Same here. I believe i make good beer and have been told that my beer is better than local. Wich is flattering and my pipe dream is opening a funk factory (brett/sour) brewery in Houston because there is none. Its a choice i have to make. Though will be a pay cut.

Anywho. Im going to open the very first beer i made. An extract amber ale. Still remember the brew day in 2011 a little over carbed thank you beer box information lol.

It is awesome that you have one from your first brew. I have a buddy that still has one bottle from not my first brew but my first after a ten year break. I keep asking for it and offering him trades but he won't give it up.

This is my last one of one and have a #2 too. Plan to open that one as well. Was planning to have one from each batch but it did not happen. Especially after kegging.

Not bad. Nice and roasty, good pb flavor that's not overpowering. I'd say pick one up if you do go to Austin next weekend.

What do you say if. I am lol

I understand that completely. @bucknuts showed me the light. Tap out a few as soon as you keg and use the carb pills. Gives you some bottle conditioned brews for posterity. I am still in the unsuccessful experimentation stages of bottling carbed beer from a keg. The only thing I know for sure is that I want to be legging and not bottling. The way the slow at work last month or so has been, I need more kegs in a bad way.

Another 17 oz pour of my HB cider and fireball. And cheese and crackers. I spent my life hating any cheese not melted. I was missing out.
Worried about dog. She sat outside for a long time in the cold. I had to bribe her to come in. She's snoring now but I wonder if she doesn't feel good. :-( I worry too much.

Does that make it to Colorado? I live a three hours from the brewery but have to drive two to get it.

Nope. Picked this up in omaha over Christmas. Got this and nuclear winter from Finch's. Not sure if I'd drive 2 hours to get either, but I'd be on lookout for them and try it if I had the chance.

So, I saw a couple of ciders being consumed...prompted me to rack a little 1/2 gallon batch I have going and topped it off with most of a bottle from a previous batch. Drinking the rest of the bottle and put the hydrometer sample in the fridge for later. It's a little bland and not very sweet at 1.003. When I prime for bottling, maybe I'll add some molasses and pasteurize once it's carbed.
