Na I haven't brewed an IPA for them as of yet. I did send down a couple kegs of my APA to corporate at their request, along with the recipe. They should start brewing it any time. It's been very well received. How was the IPA?
Onto a taste of my cloudy ass cider. It's... ok. Total newb to cider.
It was pretty good. No aroma at all though. I just figured it was rather old or the boss man cut the hop budget lol. They had it and Dirty Sally on tap. Haven't seen the APA yet.
I guess Remmy passed out? Onto da Durty Bastid...
Way to get back on the horse![]()
Kilt Lifter by Four Peaks at the airport. Sitting next to a lady who is super chatty. If I think someone is chatty then she is super chatty.

Could have been old, but the boss man ain't a cheap skate in my experience. They send me whatever I order, no questions asked. Haven't met the brewers down there or tasted the beer so I cant speak to their brewing prowess. I brew the Dirty Sally as well, but use my own ABA recipe, as I didn't like theirs. Not sure how that'll work out in the long run. Lol. Thanks for the support though. Drink local!
Ok I lied , the cider was awful. We'll see how some age treats it. Some more HB 'Murican Amber and a cheap ass cigar. They'd kick me right out of the Stoagie thread. Feeling it tonight.
Not a chance! Smoke what you like and like what you smoke! The more the merrier over in that thread.
About to pour a few more fingers of whiskey and head to bed. This cold is killing me
If you want to do a side by side, any time. The 13 is probably still a little smoky, but the other should be awesome. Did a 2008 and a 2012 in 2013 for the 2013 Dixie Cup (homebrew comp/conference in Houston) with Geoff Larson and his rule of thumb is that they are best with a year or two on them, but mellow out quite nicely over time. Cool guy.
