LoloMT7s Red. Another great beer man! Is this Imperial or no? Pretty close to Red Dread in aroma and flavor if you ask me. Thanks!!

Just kegged my IPA that I had dry hopping for 7 days. It was a little higher on the IBU scale than I usually do my IPAs. Basically I just did an experiment to see how it would turn out. I pulled about half a glass to just taste and I have to say I like it. A lot of Citra and Centennial, so it's got a good citrus punch, but I threw in some Chinook as well, to give it a little piney hit.

I think I will enjoy it a little more as it mellows a bit though. I'm more of a middle of the road IPA guy. I'm finishing off the night though with a bottle of Lagunitas IPA. I always was a bit of a craft beer drinker, but it's gotten kind of crazy how many six packs I buy now to use as reasearch.

Finally back to my fortress of solitude after seeing Superman. Every time I go to the movie theatre I realize why I never go to the movies.
I hate crowds of people.
Now drinking DisturbdChemist's mead. I think this one is cilantro lime.

The movie..... and hell the mead too! :tank:

The movie was good. There's a couple things about it I didn't like, but overall I enjoyed it.
I guess that could describe the mead as well. ;)

Thanks.. borderline imperial think it ended up around 7.8% the 5 gallons I had on tap were citra ctz dry hop (like red dread). The 5 gallons bottled were Centennial dry hop us-05 and I actually liked the bottles best.
Drinking water watching a movie.. long day.

There's only two reasons, under normal circumstances, that I can think of for drinking at 5:45 am. 1) You're still drinking from the night before or 2) you're up earlier than any sane person has a right to be on their day off in the name of brewing before it gets too hot outside. Guess which one applies to me.

Well, I mean you could just be getting off work too.. ;)

That's true. I didn't think about the folks on shift work. Sad part about that is I actually work shift work hours occasionally and I didn't consider it.

Now I am having coffee. The initial excitement about getting up crazy early to brew has given way to the fatigue that comes along with doing nothing while waiting for the mash and boil.
