I'm building water for tomorrow's brew day and sipping my N. American Stout in a spiffy Spiegelau stout glass that came in a set. I haven't the faintest notion about what makes this a stout glass. I have it, so I may as well use it.

And a glass of this year's UK Northern Brown Ale brewed with an invert sugar specifically made for this recipe. I creatively named that sugar Invert #2.5. Yes, my creative writing professor despised my punk ass. In fairness, she had a point.

I don’t think I ever bottled any. I would do secondary in a bottling bucket and just take it right from the spout… lol

May have been better off doing just that at times...
Hit 100 which for me is good. Couldn't get under the ball without a tee, and didn't start opening my hips on driver until the15th or 16th.
Not sure what the weather might be next weekend for my trek back east, but i will likely tote the clubs on the off chance we put them to use.
As far as handicaps, why announce that to people? It is more fun keep them guessing!

Alaskan Smoked Porter 2009
Good sound from the cap
Aroma is slight chocolate roast with some smoke and spicy phenols
Flavor is lighter than I expected. Waves of roast, chocolate, malt, smoke, all very round and smooth. The smoke is not overpowering and does not have the big phenol notes like some smoked beers. This is amazingly good after 16 years hiding in a fridge.

Coffee while brewing a winter porter. Long delayed due to back to back detached retinas. But the good thing about home brewing is I can make what I want when I want. (Or when my eyes cooperate…).

Brew day.. a rather successful one, numbers came in perfect.
It's the speedo that takes the hit in the summer.
A home brew lager with northern brewer hops, a little bit of citrus pops through, tasty.
On a real Belgian kick right now. Grabbed one of those mixed 6-pack things from BevMo just for the hell of it. Off to a good start. Not mind-blowing but quite enjoyable. The head on this thing just won’t quit

Still working on this HB NEIPA, keg will just not kick. But I'm really not complaining.
