I agree. Had one the other night and was unimpressed. Too malty, and bitterness didn't seem quite right...

After an annoying phone conversation, I went looking for the highest ABV in my beer fridge. At 9.7%, this was the winner.

Side benefit: It's pretty tasty. This one could really sneak up on you! It's a good thing I only have one.

Just had the DC Oakes Porter a few weeks ago. Thought it was pretty good.

This one was a coconut almond porter and it was a little too much for me.

Starting with NA. Got it after seeing how high it was rated. Believe the hype. Nice mouth feel and balanced malt/hop flavor. Besides missing the happy ending, would not peg it as an NA.

I like this one. One of the best NAs I’ve found. More calories than some, but good taste and not as thin as many. I took about five weeks off from alcohol, except for one cheat day for the Ohio State-Penn State game, so I’ve been trying all that I find. I’ll have to check out that Brooklyn one you posted if I can find it around here.

Check out Athletic Brewing also. I'll post some later. They have a nice stout/ipa's. My plan is to work with extracts to get some additional diversity. Save the liver. Enjoy some brew...my new motto.

Lately my brews have been suffering quality and just aren't as good. While working around the house this just recalibrates me to working harder at paying attention to detail with my brews. This stout really is a king.

I like the Athletic Free Wave hazy ipa. I agree their stout isn’t bad either. This one is a coffee stout. Not bad. Brewdog NAs seem on the thin side, but the coffee adds something interesting.

Jelly you can get a "hers". My wife likes 1 drink and 1 drink only, vodka based.

Very similar to that Brooklyn hoppy Amber NA. Seems more like a Amber for sure. Poured a bit warm. No WCIPA character here. I see why people are pissed.
