Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Real nice community here. Cinnamon rolls for breakfast from a diner across the river in IA. Now, just getting started with afternoon festivities - only doing bone-in turkey breasts this year. Pics later - beer pics now - my favorite find from this past year. A little sample to test my newest Irish Stout. A little more bitter than I expected and a touch acidic. Maybe some time to mellow before I dive in. Still not too bad however.
Then a beer from Lincoln, NE before my folks and brother’s family get here.
Based on the description this sounded delicious but it’s all boozy. Even after sitting for a few weeks, canned 10/15/20. I’ll chalk it up to their new brewery in DC as they work out the kinks and this was one of their first brews.
