HB bacon wrapped scallop stout.

Almost ordered that at Lockharts in Royal Oak..too much of a hop bomb for me though!
HB Irish Stout... been trying to nail Guinness but this just isn’t it. I think I’m over thinking things with this beer. This just doesn’t taste good. Very thin. I’m not good with flavors but it’s messed up... kind of too bitter or acidic. I’m going to have to reconsider how to brew this.
I wish it tasted as good as it looks.

Are you mashing high enough temp? Might help the "thin" problem. Is the bitter from mashing too long, aka tannins, or hops?
Love the glass@JCasey1992 milk stout
Quite light flavor profile
Not much head retention; although, I understand it's a process issue getting from the tap
Quite nice, not very heavy which is a nice change of pace and not adjunct-heavy...it's simply simple

Pregaming with HB IPA and Blackberry sourMy thoughts are that it should be sampled by all of us homebrewers here so that we can critique. You oftentimes find yourself to be the best and yet worst critic. Maybe it's actually quite passable as a Guinness clone...I'd be willing to take that test for you @camonick ; )
...it looks quite nice, regardless.
