Seems like you were well aware of the situation. We’ll be heading into Denver tomorrow for the next few days.

If you happen to go to Woodland Park on 24 I know the Ute Pass Brewing owner, or if your in Idaho Springs; Tommy Knocker is cool and have to eat Beau Jo's Pizza. I believe there are other locations too.

Beau Jo’s pies are really good... it’s an interesting restaurant too.

We’ll be heading into Denver tomorrow for the next few days.

As you come into Denver on I-70 from the mountains, there is a humongous liquor store off I-70 at Youngfield & 32nd. It’s called Applejack Wine & Spirits. They have everything under the sun if you want to look for local beers.

Will do the best I can for sure. I’m back seat this trip, which has been nice.

Quick hike before lunch and now Breckenridge Mountain Beach.

That looks like my timeshare the grand timber lodge. It's really nice and the two bros who built it, built a second called grand lodge on peak 9. If you were facing the mountain at the base its was on you right. My wife really wanted one of those, that's not ski in and out, its walk in and out. Glad you are enjoying our back country. A Colorado vacation to me means that you have to get out and be active, by now you have seen the billion people who moved here. Hopefully its not to crowded.

Surprised you are able to hike around. There is a s... ton of snow up there still. I had a few hikes I was going to reccomend but figured they were mud walks. The water is high which means killer rafting. Two people have died already on the Arkansas. We always trade our time share and the last few years go to Vegas. Have you had any stranahans, or breck bourbon yet? The stranahan is much better iirc. They also make breck vodka iiac. I never cared for breck beers. There is another brewery there we go, back country maybe. Found the green, I am sure. Hope its strong enough for you ;). Everyone knows I am from Ft Collins, so I figure if you want tips you would have asked. Quite frankly I love what you are doing and I could smell the woods from your pictures. Somewhere on the forum I went into great length with breck tips as well as others. Drinking coffee. I am living it up in Sedona. Slide rock state park was pretty epic.

I officially love Colorado. Post afternoon hike brew.

Haha, love it. The imperial chair or whatever it's called goes to 13k iirc, and from there people take off everywhere at the top. In deep powder would be best for that imho. Before that chair, pretty cool, people would rage up there and ski. One of the coolest frisbee golf courses in the world lies along the highway between I 70 and breck in the nordic center. Come back and ski down those jagged peaks on a snow day. Weldwerks has been fire as well as new image.

We came the day after the slopes closed so people started to taper out for a few days. That made for nice hiking since the trails were lightly travelled. Yeah, we couldn’t hit some trails but enjoyed the ones that we did hit. No Breck bourbon yet which is surprising but have been hitting the beers and greens.

Denver Beer Co Juicy Freak.
