Not a beer, but I'm drinking a Penafiel Limeade. Amazing stuff.

Let me tell ‘ya something – there’s not a thing wrong with these blenders. Take a terrific high-octane dark brew like this 8.7% ABV Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA, er, I mean “Cascadian Dark Ale,” water it back to about half strength with a super-lightweight Bud Zero and what are you left with?

A SUPER-drinkable, CHUGWORTHY and DELICIOUS 4.35% ABV hoppy black brew! Half Ale, half Lager! What’s that make it? Aleger? Lagale? Take your pick!

A great mix, really hits the spot when you are parched, thirsty but are looking for that dark brew satisfaction with a hop kick – and super GLUGGABLE! Scrumptious! Give it a try!

^And watch your weight balloooooon!^ 😁

Tasty drinks can get you like that.
One trip to the Bahamas I got into Piña Coladas in a major way and gained ten pounds in two weeks

Cheers! (but enjoy anyway ;))
Soooo true. I am indulging while I can before I get back on the Keto on Tuesday. Speaking of which, a little night cap before bed from the decanter I got for my birthday (Blade and Bow).

First alcoholic drink so far in 2025- a smallish sample of my Treehouse Style IPA.

The diffusing filters on my office lighting make everything looks very orange but I'm reality it's pale yellow. And really, really good.

Pretty far from how I'd normally brew a hazy but results in something that punches far closer to many of the great commercial styles than I was expecting. Really enjoyable.

Leftover after bottling my 2024 barleywine I brewed in Dec. I filled 31 bottles out of 3 gallons and have a good glass left. I think its the size of the bottle filler I’m using - the one with the spring. This one’s tasty. It’ll be fun to taste this again in a year. (The line on the second photo is part of an etched design on the glass)

It’s always great finding new beers, even if they’ve been around since 1672!

Tucher Brauerei, a Bavarian brew house located in Nürnberg Germany, produces this fine and predictable Helles Lager. Another great brew brewed under the 1516 Reinheitsgebot, Beer Purity Law, nothing in here but water, malt, hops and yeast. Gotta Love it!

Check out the clarity – great craftsmanship here! Tucher Helles has a 5.2% ABV and drinks malty, like a Helles should. Prost!
