Ok. You got me there. The most overrated just might be the Beatles. But, I actually kind of like the Beatles and some of the solo work of three of the members. But, I can't stand anything about Metallica.

George Harrison was a guitar god.

I grew up loving them. Metallica is one of those bands that can do no wrong for me no matter how much of a ****** Lars is.

more floccin' water.

as for Metallica: Lars and James can felch things from dead raccoons and Kirk is their pretty little gimp they keep locked in the closet. a real sato-baby. I admit to liking some of their songs, but as for the members: the previously listed 3 really need a jackboot facelift and sea urchin enema. flocc those 2 crybaby little girl pants wearing hypocrites and their little sh!t matted lap dog.

Or maybe I'm just not as old. Martheflocc

Metallica was huge when I was in high school and college. They sucked then, too.

Actually, I like Metallica, but they aren't great. One is certainly one of their top 2-3 songs. You ever hear Chris Cornell sing Metallica, One to the music of U2, One? Classic.

Chris Cornell can make any word sound important

For the record the Beatles are the most overrated band ever or perhaps the Rolling Stones.

Both are also indeed tremendously overrated, but I don't think they quite match the hype-to-suck ratio of Metallica.

My wife's entire family (and damn near everyone I've ever known) loves the Beatles. I don't get it. Plus both Paul McCartney and John Lennon were total scum as people.

3rd pull of Mild.

The haters are out in full force tonight!

it's my occupation. me and my brother (the one on the left) got in a fist fight over the Red Haired Pterodactyl: Willie Nelson.

Haha...I'm not big Cornell fan, either. I'll throw Soundgarden in the most overrated mix.

If any of you SOBs try to throw Ozzy in the most overrated mix I'm going hunting tonight. He has a real place of reverence for me regardless of music quality or the character of the man or his assh@le wife.

I can't stand Ozzy (the reality tv personality), but love his music. And this is just a great song. http://youtu.be/CprfjfN5PRs

I realized that day one of my marriage. Almost 11 years later and nothing has convinced me otherwise.

I'm on year 13. As soon as we were married, I went out and got a dog. We had two kids very quickly after that...then, without having a baby for a year and a half, she decided she needed another puppy...of course, kid #3 happened immediately after that.

Flash forward several years and she starts saying things like "why didn't you stop me from getting a second dog?"

Then, this summer, my dog, Otis, dies. She is honestly looking at rescue dogs online right now.
