Building up dreg cultures is hard work. Half way through the boil now. Havent calculated yet but efficiency was way higher than 80% like I predicted. Turbid mash seemed to go pretty dang well, hit all my temps no problem. Now I wait 18 months to see if it paid off.

Having a Legend Brown Ale at Applebee's in the Richmond airport. Decent selection, surprisingly.

Wife's flight home was canceled today, rebooked on a much earlier flight. Scrambled to pack up, drove 2 hours in freezing rain, rental car caked with ice. She made it on the flight, but checked bags were late so they might not make it today. Now I have 5 hours until my flight to TX.

Coffee. Home brewing and this forum has made me way more confident in having a go at little DIY projects. I etched my HLT today, I would never have attempted stuff like this previously or I would have rushed it and done a horrible job. Just need to find some adhesive number stencils now!
