What are these white hairs type things

It’s hard to see in the picture but this is my first brew and, in my plastic bottle I see these white strands. There is no mold on the top

It looks to me like a little raft of yeast.

I can’t really see what you’re talking about. Google “vinegar eels” and see if that looks like what you’re seeing though.

Pretty sure he's asking about this, and pretty sure it's just yeast.

I don't believe I've ever seen something like that in a brew (and I've always fermented in italian glass) but if it was just a couple/few randoms I'd hold my concern in abeyance pending future developments...
