So I have some Fermax yeast nutrient in a baggie about 9 months old that has become moist and has a strong ammonia smell to it. Is it still ok to use for some winemaking?

Thank you,

The ammonia smell is normal considering a main component of it is diammonium phosphate. I'd say boil it in a bit of water and use it. at worst I'd expect it to be somewhat degraded, but not detrimental to your winemaking.
