Does anyone have an all grain recipe for a Wernesgruner clone? I've seen other people ask the same but so far no one has come up with an answer.

It's a traditional German pils, though dryer than your average. Can't figure out what hops are present.

Sorry for this very late response. I have been working on it for years. Im getting close. I have been communicating with the brewer and the public relations person. Here is there response.

Thank you very much for your kind email. We are very pleased that you are a connoisseur of Wernesgrüner Pils Legende.

After consulting our beer production, we can inform you that we work with hop pellets for reasons of naturalness. In addition to selected bitter hop varieties (Hallertauer Magnum, Hallertauer Taurus, Hallertauer Saphir), we also use a small proportion of different aromatic hops.

I know I'm reviving an old thread that was already resurrected from an even older zombie thread, but did you ever make any more progress on your Pils Legende clone?

Our local Aldi recently started selling alcoholic drinks and I've been getting a 4-pack of it on every shopping trip. I was surprised how good it is and a bargain at $5.99 for a 4-pack.

Aldi was carrying this in a 6 pack at that price pre-covid. I haven't seen it here in Houston since.
Somewhere on here, someone suggested it is made with Sauergut method....

Every time I'm reading something about "bargain" prices for beer from an American perspective, I'm reminded of how privileged us Germans are. You don't want to know what we pay for the cheapest but still great pils :D .

It's $5.99 for a 4 pack at my local ALDI as well. I'm in Iowa City, Iowa. Love this beer.

Oh I know you guys are paying almost nothing for those beers. Friends of mine have travelled to that region and told me about it. I'm jealous!
