So, I brought in a small bottle of my apfelwein for my colleague at work to sample. About an hour ago she comes to my desk "Michael's birthday party is in a half hour. I think we should give the people in the room a sample for the party" "Oh cool, I love that idea, who is going to be there?" She goes on to rattle off several EDs and two MDs... a group of folks that it would behoove to impress. I got a LOT of questions and satisfied "mmm" sounds.

That could have gone WAY worse.

Gah! At my job, I'd immediately grab the bottle and throw it out the window if I heard it was about to be presented to an ED or MD. My first thought would be "I'm getting canned for bringing it to work."

I work in an outpatient behavioral health facility.

Haha! I made VERY certain that there were no ethical or legal concerns behind bringing it in.
