So, I'm in the middle of brewing beer for my wedding. I'll have six beers on tap (Centennial IPA, Rye IPA, Citra DIPA, Breakfast Stout, Best Bitter, Watermelon Wheat). I built a jockey box using a 7-pass cold plate, but this will be the first time I'll be using the system.
In addition, I'm planning on bottling a few of these for each of the groomsmen - to this end I bought a beer gun, but this will also be my first time using one.
A couple of questions: Since I have no way to keep six kegs of beer cold (either at home or at the wedding), I'm planning on carbing at ~30psi assuming an ambient temperature of ~75F, and pushing it through 10ft of 3/16 ID beer line, the cold plate, and 1ft of 1/4 line with ~30psi. Does this sound about right?
Secondly, are there any pitfalls to using a beer gun with warm beer carbed at 30psi? I would try to push at low psi, but not sure how it will go.
Anyways, appreciate any advice you guys might have since I have no experience with either the jockey box or the beer gun. Just with brewing (and drinking) beer
