I've got what is probally a silly question, even for a noob like myself. I'm looking to build a wort chiller but before I do, I'd like to make sure I know how to use it. How does everybody sanitize the wort chillers. Do you soak them in a solution or just put it in the brew pot before you turn off the boil?

I have an immersion chiller and put it in the last 15-20 minutes of the boil.

And I used to soak it in a bucket of iodophor. Either method works fine.

Use star san(or other mild acidic) to clean it before dropping it in, otherwise the brew might not taste so good as the wort cleans it.
